Commercial Electronic Messages

This notice explains commercial electronic messages and Türkiye’s Message Management System (İYS), under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communications and Commercial Electronic Messages.

What are commercial electronic messages?

They include promotional emails, SMS messages and calls about campaigns, discounts, new products and gifts. They are sent only with your prior consent.

Transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, returns information and password resets support your transactions and are sent independently of marketing consent.

How consent is obtained

You give consent by selecting the optional commercial-message checkbox when registering or ordering. It is not selected by default. Consent is recorded with the channel (email, SMS or calls), date and time.

Message Management System (İYS)

Consents are registered in İYS as required by law. Sign in through e-Devlet at iys.org.tr to see the brands you have authorised, manage individual channels or withdraw consent.

Withdrawing consent

You may stop receiving commercial messages at any time without giving a reason. Use the unsubscribe link in our emails, the opt-out method stated in our SMS messages, İYS, or write to [email protected] or [email protected]. Requests are processed within three business days of receipt; commercial messages will not be sent after that period.

Record retention

Consent, withdrawal and message records are retained for the legally required period and provided to the Ministry of Trade on request. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing.

Complaints

If you believe you received commercial messages without consent, you may submit a complaint through the Turkish Ministry of Trade’s e-commerce information platform.
